Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about pool maintenance and care schedules.
Why does my water keep getting green?
What should I do if my cyanuric acid is too high?
How often should my pool be serviced?
What happens if my pH is too high?
How do I get started with pool service?
Green water is usually caused by low chlorine, poor circulation, algae growth, or unbalanced water. We can test the water, treat the algae, and help prevent it from coming back.
High cyanuric acid, also called stabilizer, usually requires draining and refilling part of the pool water. Too much stabilizer can make chlorine less effective.
Most pools should be serviced once a week to keep the water clean, balanced, and safe to swim in.
High pH can cause cloudy water, scaling, and make chlorine less effective. We can lower the pH and rebalance the water.
